Save the Date for the MSA 12th Biennial Conference
12-14th of September 2017

The venue for MSA2017 is the world acclaimed Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre
Realising the Value of Metrology
The MSA Conference brings together like-minded scientific, industrial, business and technical practitioners for an opportunity to learn and get acquainted with the latest advances and tools in the field of metrology.
The conference will present a mix of case studies, presentations and training workshops which showcase best practice, research, innovation and success in the world of calibration and measurement.
This event, will not only be inspiring and thought provoking, it will also be highly relevant and practical to all levels of Metrologists.
The audience will include the ‘end users’ that use physical measurements, calibration and testing laboratories, national measurement institutes, and accrediting, compliance and government organisations.
Programme
Invited talks presenting pertinent and relevant views on Applied Metrology.
Case studies focussing on examples of technical solutions to measurement problems and their impact on business.
Research reports including the latest in measurement methods and techniques, data processing and analysis, calibration systems and measurement uncertainty.
Workshops and forums led by experts from industry and measurement institutes.
These sessions include the new ISO 17025, safety for the business of Metrology, measurement terminology, measurement uncertainty, accreditation, calibration procedures, recognition of measurement and business profitability.
Venue
Brisbane is rightly famous for its amazing climate that is near perfect all year round, and its proximity to many of Queensland's major tourist destinations. It is the Mecca for visitors to Australia.
The conference will be held in the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre (BCEC) which in 2016 was awarded the accolade of the World’s Best Convention Centre.
