Great News!

As a member of MSA, you are eligible to become a member of Laboratories Credit Union (LCU). So who is LCU?

LCU was established by CSIRO staff in 1954.   A credit union is a member-owned financial institution and we offer the same services as banks but our profits go back to members through competitive interest rates, fairer fees and community activities/sponsorships in our local area along with the science community.  LCU is an approved deposit-taking institution that is regulated by APRA under the Banking Act so your money is safe. LCU was set up by scientists for scientists and we continue to be involved through support of science awards and groups such as the CSIRO Alumni Scholarship, RACI, AIP, MSA and GSA.

As a member of LCU you would also have access to:

  • Fee-free children’s accounts, with higher rate of interest applicable;
  • Eligibility for annual tertiary scholarship prizes;
  • Free membership of Your Financial Wellness program; and
  • Experience the exceptional service that is provided to our members by LCU.

For a limited time, LCU has extra-special offer to members of MSA and their staff.  Our home loans offer 100% offset accounts with no annual fees – see flyer below for more information.

If you would like to discuss the LCU – MSA offer, or anything else regarding LCU please contact Sally on 9859 0585 or sally@lcu.com.au
